Meet Joshua and Emily, our newly engaged couple! Emily absolutely loves animals, so Joshua began the day by taking her on a cross-country horse ride. After an exciting day exploring the Hunter Valley and lunching at the vineyards, Joshua told Emily that he had made dinner plans for the evening. Emily arrived ready to go for a pre-dinner drink, but instead of heading to town like expected, Joshua took her to the nature reserve where they loved to picnic and feed the ducks. With the help of a couple of friends, Joshua had prepared an amazing picnic complete with candles, fairy lights and her name written in lights. At the picnic spot, Joshua surprised Emily with a puzzle he had created, like the one he made on their very first date. On the front, the puzzle had a photo of the two on their first date feeding meerkats, and on the back, the lyrics to their favourite song ‘Yellow’ by Coldplay. After putting the puzzle together, Joshua asked Emily to close her eyes as he got out his guitar and began to play their song to her. He then asked Emily to stand, pulled out the ring box hidden for safekeeping in his sock, dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. To which she replied, ‘yes!’
